Vegan Texas Chili Cooking Show by Kyong Weathersby

Non-spice, Gluten-free. Comfort food with full of nutrition and flavor. It is wonderful hot meal during cold weather. Cholesterol-free, Oil-free

Vegan Texas Chili

3 ½ c water
2 ½ c cooked pinto beans or 2 cans (15.5 oz) pinto beans
2 c soy curls, cut in small pieces
1 T paprika
2 T soy sauce, unfermented
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
3 T nutritional yeast flakes
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
2 green onions, chopped

If you are using canned pinto beans, wash and drain completely. Put all ingredients except green onions in a large saucepan, and mix well. Bring to a full boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 20 minutes. Stir often. Remove from heat and add chopped green onions. Serve over brown rice or over tamales, or whole grain pasta. Yummy!
