December 11 – 13 | Just a few days at work, sharing some of my As to your Qs (Q&A from the last 2 vlogmas videos). Sharing my go to chili recipe, lifting, etc.

MissLizHeart’s Homemade Chili recipe (adapted to our taste)

* 1 can red beans (approx 12 oz)
* 1 lb ground chicken breast
* 1 medium onion
* 2 cans (14.5 oz each) chicken stock
* 2 tbsp tomato paste (adjust depending on desired thickness)
* 1 can of diced tomato (mine was 14.5 oz)
* 1 tbsp cumin
* 1 tbsp chili powder
* 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
* 1 tbsp onion powder
* 1 tbsp garlic powder
* salt & pepper to taste

*Saute the onions on medium high with oil salt and pepper to taste (you could do this in the same big pot, 1 less thing to clean). Once onions are translucent add ground chicken. In a large pan, add onions, chicken, seasoning, diced tomato, kidney beans, tomato paste and salt to taste. Mix, add in chicken stock and bring to a boil. Let it boil for 8-10 minutes and reduce heat to medium low and let simmer for 1-3 hours. Check to ensure it doesn’t dry up or need more tomato paste if not thick enough. I added more seasoning towards the end based on our taste so you’ll just have to play with it! Garnish with cheese, onions and sour cream (if you like). I usually eat with saltine or Ritz crackers, Fritos or cornbread. Thank you MissLizHeart for the tasty recipe, enjoy y’all!
