Today I Will Show Y’all My Homemade Chili Recipe From Scratch. Homemade Chili Is Very Simple To Make. Just Follow Along With My Chili Recipe.
Ingredients For Homemade Chili:
2 1/2 lbs Of Ground Chuck
2 Onions Chopped
2 Jalapeno Peppers Chopped With Seeds
1 Whole Head Of Garlic Chopped
2 Cans Of Tomato Sauce (29 oz Cans)
1 Tbs Of Ground Cumin
1 Tbs Of Chili Powder
1 Tbs Of Onion Powder
1 Tbs Of Garlic Powder
1/2 Cup Of Sugar Or Splenda
Tony Chachere
For The 1 Tbs Of Seasoning Start Out With That And Then Taste The Chili To See If You Will Need To Add Any More.
Put Meat In A Pot And Season With Tony Chachere. Mix The Meat While Cooking It Til It All Turns Brown Then Put It In A Strainer And Drain All The Grease Out.
Put The Meat Back In The Pot And Throw In Onions, Peppers, And Garlic And Cook Down Til Wilted. Then Add Tomato Sauce And 1/2 Cup Of Sugar Or Splenda And Let Simmer For 30 Minutes.
Next Add Ground Cumin, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Chili Powder And Give The Chili A Taste Test To See If It Needs More Of Each One And Add If You Need To Until It Tastes Like Chili.
