Just moved to a new city a couple months ago, and this is one of the few things I regret about it. When we lived in Texas, we had our wing spot. The sauces were extremely flavorful, and several packed a good punch of heat. The closest place to get wings here is decent, but nothing special. The ones on the left were called “Backdraft” which brings to mind a good scorch. It was really just a decent hot sauce, but honestly not deserving of the name. The wings on the right were Cajun, which was basically just a hot sauce with blackening seasonings dusted on. Good flavor, but a bit anticlimactic. I love chicken wings, so the search will continue…
