Texas Style No Bean Chili Recipe #Superbowl Food Flipped EP 35

Hey there hungry people, this is Ashray from Flipped with Texas Style No Beans Chili. With the Superbowl right around the corner, i wanted to share with you my no bans chili recipe to share before during and after the game.

Recipe and measurements:

Ingredients:8 oz bacon chopped into bits
1 lbs beef chuck or brisket chopped in 1 inch cubes
3 lbs ground beef
1 large onion chopped
1 green chili chopped
4 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp chipolte chili powder
1 tbsp ancho chili powder
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp ground coffee
1 tbsp coriander
1 tbsp cumin
12 oz can of beer
28 oz can of chopped tomatoes
28 oz of water
2 oz crushed corn chips
topped with chopped onions, sour cream, chedder cheese, cheese curds, sliced green chilies

Recipe:
Brown bacon is a little bit of oil
Set aside
Brown beef chuck
Set aside
Brown ground beef
Set aside
Add onions and green chilis in same pot
Cook till onions are translucent
Add garlic cloves
Cook for a minute till garlic is fragrant
Add salt, pepper, oregano, cinnamon, chipotle chili, ancho chili, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, and coffee grounds.
Mix and cook for a few minutes
Deglaze pot with beer
add meat back in
Add tomatoes and water
bring to a simmer
Cover and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours on low
Serve piping hot
top with onions, cheese, sour cream, and green chilis
