Homemade Chili Recipe – Kevin + No Chef – How I do it.
Ingredient list:
2.5 – 3lbs. Ground Beef(80% Lean)
1.5 – 2lbs Italian Sausage(Sweet or Hot or Both)
1/3lb Bacon
8 Cloves Garlic(Finely Chopped)
4T Olive Oil
2T Worcestershire Sauce
Splash or 2 of Soy Sauce
1/ 28oz Crushed Tomato in thick puree
2/8oz Tomato Sauce
2/ 6oz Tomato Paste
2.5oz Chili Powder
1t Salt(or there abouts)
1T – Crushed Red Pepper
2T – Black Pepper, Basil, Oregano, Cumin
4 Stalks Celery
3 Cubanelle Peppers
2 Green Peppers
2 Red Peppers
1 Red Onion(medium size)
1 Yellow Onion(medium size)
2 Tomatoes(Chopped)
10oz Mushrooms(just the caps chopped)
1/ 15.5oz Black Beans(Goya) *Optional
Grated Cheddar Cheese for topping *Optional
* For extra heat add hot peppers of your choosing.
