Try this easy chili recipe for your Superbowl Sunday or any day of the week!
All recipes I post will be quick & easy because becoming the best version of ourselves doesn’t mean we have to spend all day in the kitchen…LOL. Only if you want to!
Also, I cook old school by sight, smell and taste so exact measurements may not always be provided.
– 1lb ground turkey (or beef, mushrooms or tufu)
-chili mix (I prefer low sodium)
-1 can of dice tomatoes ( I like fire roasted but didn’t have for this video)
-1 small can of tomatoe sauce (no salt)
-1 can small red kidney beans (use larger size beans if you prefer)
-1 can black beans
Season & brown ground meat, drain grease, add meat to crock pot, sprinkle chili mix on top, add dice tomatoes, add tomatoe sauce, add small red beans undrained, rinse black beans and add black beans. Stir and cook for a while, then taste, and add additional seasoning as needed. I like to add a little more chili powder, creole season and paprika (especially for ground turkey to give it more color). Serve in a bowl with cheese, onions or on a hot dog or sausage. I like mine over potatoes or rice!
