I had a blast participating in this Chili Collaboration! What was originally going to be one recipe eventually became THREE! I just really wanted to make some white chili this day, but my husband doesn’t each chicken, so I made both. I used some different ingredients that made for an ok supper, but we decided to tweak it again for leftovers, giving you a THIRD way to make chili! Hope you enjoy!
Regular Chili
2# hamburger cooked
1 pint Beef broth or water
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup pepper
1/2 cup tomatoes
2TBS hot peppers
Optional- 1/2 c. Pepper jelly
1 can Rotel
4 cans chilli beans with seasoning
1 TBS chilli powder
Garlic powder, Salt and Pepper to taste
White Chili
2# chicken cooked
1 quart chicken broth
1/2 can green chillis
1 8 oz block cream cheese
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup onions
2 cans canelli beans, drained
2 cans great northern beans, drained
Mexican Spin
Later added to leftover chilli from previos day
2# seasoned Taco Meat
1 quart sweet corn
2 cups cooked brown rice
Sazon seasoning to taste
Cilantro lime Tajon seasoning to taste
Top any of the Chili with sour cream, cheese, salsa, chips, crackers.
