This is one of my favourite recipes I found when I was going through my Grandma’s old recipe book. She used to write down most of her recipes in this small, little book with the most beautiful handwriting I have ever seen. (that’s the teacher in her I suppose) I’m was so happy to be re-creating and sharing her recipes with you all.
My grandparents were great at pinching pennies and using ingredients that had flavour but didn’t cost too much, making her recipes great for the budget economy we live in.
