Ingredients

To Make Masala Paste
Peppercorns – 2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Garlic – 10 Nos Chopped
Chopped Ginger
Water

To Make Crab Pepper Masala
Crab – 400 Gms (3 Nos Large Crab)
Gingelly Oil – 2 Tbsp
Onion – 4 Nos Thinly Sliced
Green Chili – 2 Nos
Ground Masala Paste
Salt – 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chili Powder – 2 Tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 Tsp
Tomato – 1 No. Chopped
Water – 1/2 Cup
Curry LeavesĀ 

Method
To a mixer jar, add peppercorns, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, garlic, ginger
Grind it
Add some water and grind it to a fine paste
Heat a pan with oil
Add onions and saute for 2 mins
Add green chillies, curry leaves and saute along
Once the onions have turned to a golden color, add the ground paste
Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well
Add tomato and saute for 5 mins
Add the cleaned and cut crabs and mix well
Add water and mix well
Close and cook for 10 mins
Finally add some curry leaves and serve it hot

  5. blue crabs do not have spots.. Blue crabs have bright blue claws and swimmers and an olive green shell.
