Hehe yes, my mom's recipe does include rice. But it doesn't include whole bell peppers. Apparently us kids, didn't like them. So she made it into a casserole.

That's how i used to grill my tomatoes and yellow squash. I put a Tomato then a squash until the pan was filled. Then I'd Cover them with Bread bread crumbs and Mozzarella Cheese. And as you've stated the type of cheese is optional. I've been know to use a mix of Habanero Jack & Fiesta Blend. But I do have to admit I like a stingier cheese.
Even the bag flew by with the smell of the cooking.
Only uh thing I do different is a little jasmine. And bacon with the top cheese

I thought it was a bad thing to mix salt into hamburger meat being cooked on a grill as it creates a barrier of the beef fats coming together and instead makes it fall apart. I guess it doesn’t matter since it’s going in the peppers but I prefer my stuffed peppers to come together like a meatloaf not crumbles. lol

I love when make a casserole and load it up with plenty of different meats and cheese to go with the pasta.i say Pass me a plate thru the tv.if only you could.i'd be eating great with the Pit Masters.with a big 24 ounces to wash it down.
