Sabut Daal & Chawal Recipe

Ingredients:

Rice 600 g
Bay leaves 3
long cloves 3-4
Black Cardamom 1-2
Cinnamon stick 2 pieces
Star Anise 1-2
Cumin seeds tsp
Salt as require
Water as require

Direction:

-Take a pot add water as require . Add Bay leaves, long cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, anise star, cumin seeds, salt.
-Bring it to boil until completely done. Strain it and set aside.

Sabut Masoor:

Ingredients:

Tomatoes 2 medium chopped
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Greeb chili 2 chopped
Ginger/ garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 and 1/2 tsp
Onion 2 medium chopped
Ghee as require
Black lentil gram 600 g
Yogurt 1 cup
Salt as require
Water as require

Tarka :

Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Green chili 3
Red chili 6-8
Garlic paste 1 tsp

Direction:

Take a pot add water as require. Bring it to boil & add black lentil gram, ginger/garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chili, black pepper powder,onion, & salt.
-Cook for 15-20 minutes until dall done.
-Take a pan add ghee and heat it.
-Add garlic paste , green chili and cook until light brown.
-Add it into the daal, add yogurt and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Black lentil gram (sabut masoor dal) Malka dal is ready. Take out into a serving dish.
-Take pan add ghee 2 small tsp heat it and add cumin seeds and red chili.
Cook until roasting smell add it into masoor dal.
Delicious masoor daal chawal is ready. Must try it at home and enjoy it.
