Today I’m gonna show you how to make smoky grilled Shishito Peppers on the stove just like the ones served at a Japanese izakaya. By dry roasting them, you get charred blistered peppers with a wonderful smoky aroma without making an oily mess, and you can season them however you like at the end. Thank you for this video. I grew Shishito peppers in my garden last year and had several bushels worth for a yield. Half of them were green and half were red. Had I known of this way to prepare them, it would have made for a nice red/green Christmas appetizer.
