Angela’s Apron:

It’s another beautiful day here in #DoorCounty and the garden is bursting with August bounty and color, including hundreds of edible flowers. Nasturtium and Calendula have such a peppery goodness, add a touch of feminine, soft, lavender and the refreshing citrus of lemon zest to some beautiful rainbow peppercorns… et VOILA!

  1. Looks like a really beautiful gift idea. The ground pepper was out of focus in the video so I really couldn't see what the final result looked like. Thanks.

  2. Hi love all of your video and your oils and enjoy your home first time ever to sent anyone comment about there video

  3. Nasturtium is itself peppery, and the other herbs are rather earthy, so this is genius! I'd probably just do the rainbow peppercorns and then make flower salt, which would be a beautiful interpretation of "spepper."😊 I gotta get me some Hidcote lavender!💗

  4. Loved and learned from this video, but I would also very would be appreciative if you could share what color/brand of red lipstick you are wearing!? Thank you!

  5. Angela, thank you, wonderful video. I know your very busy with the children and that, makes this video even more special. Have a wonderful weekend with your beautiful family.

  9. I LOVE your channel! So inspiring! I visited Paris last year for the first time and love bringing some of that experience into my home. ❤️ your home and garden are beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

  10. Beautiful. I love the natural lifestyle. I want to incorporate oils into it also. What do you recommend for beginners?

  11. Angela, I noticed your garden is so beautiful. Perhaps sometime in the future you can talk about how you keep it so healthy. Next summer I am going to try to grow a beautiful garden like yours.

  12. Such a beautiful video to watch, as are all of your video’s. 🥰💖👍🏻

  13. I love the rich colors in this video…jewel-like. ❤️. Completely unrelated, but have you seen the documentary Keys to the Castle? I have a feeling we are kindred spirits and I just watched it and loved it and thought of you and of The Daily Connoisseur (another youtuber/writer who is into all things refined). The main reason I recommend it is because the main character is simply delightful and I want to be like her when I grow old. Have a blessed Sunday!

  14. I can't tell you how happy I was to learn about your flower pepper!!! I am always looking for ways to use edible flowers other than just in salads. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely video.

  15. Wonderful idea, thank you! Don't know what happened to my nasturtiums that I planted from seed this year, but none of them came up! First time that ever happened.

  16. What is the name of the French movies you mentioned influenced you – to even the colors you wear

  17. Did you know: I think the pink or red "peppercorn" is actually sumac. But it makes it look more attractive imho!

  18. I just found this video! I bought your book two weeks ago and I've been dying to put this together. Oh so lovely! Thank you so much for inspiring us!
    You're a goddess 🙈😍

  19. Do you candy violets too? Or fry battered squash blossoms? I dry rose petals in my microwave between two paper towels. I expect a food dehydrator would work as well, if you have fine screens for the trays.
