  1. So if yousimplify this to beef, onions, mashed potatoes and gravy.. you get what we called mucky burger lol. This have more healthy stuff though lol.

  2. I have never seen canned zucchini. That is vegetable soup with ground turkey. I would add beef broth

  3. I think you'd probably like corned beef hash, if you can get canned corned beef there. Whenever I've seen a US corned beef, it's looked more like pastrami, but in the UK we have a canned version that's very soft. I can't eat it anymore because swine flu messed up my taste buds, but I used to love it. Cans of corned beef, new potatoes, chopped tomatoes, baked beans, and whatever other veg you want to add, plus chopped onion.

  4. I found a recipe similar to this as a newly married, financially struggling person and we ate it often for years. Ours only had green beans and we served it over rice. I like the addition of corn. I might make this next time I meal plan

  5. We make it our house but call it "Mustgo" since we freeze leftover veggies and make it once a month

  6. This was "Tuesday night special in my home growing up. bowling night quick meal. I love it over tortilla chips.

  7. Love the videos. I make something similar at home, but instead of meat I grate smoked tofu and add a bit of curry powder. Served over rice. Makes a good and cheap dish for those that don't eat meat too

  8. In college I called my favorite poverty meal Rice Glop and I thought I made it up 😂😂 it was essentially this meal without the Turkey, with a can of vegetable beef soup, cooked rice in the broth and stirred in some Kraft singles at the end.

  9. I bet the addition of the canned zucchini if you could find it would actually give it that texture we tend to imagine when we say "glop".

  10. my family eats this all the time. most natives know this as hamburger soup

  11. Just the other day we had a can of Italian style zucchini with tomatoes we had never had it before it's pretty tasty. I didn't even know it existed and now 3 days later you are making something t

  12. This looks absolutely vile but could have been delicious with just a few additions. Fried onion and garlic and Cornflour added to the mix to thicken it a bit.

  13. Never heard it called glop before, but we would make this with beans & pasta or rice. I don't see how 3 cans of canned bits & 1lb of meat would feed a crowd, that's maybe enough for 2. Definitely something I grew up having with ground beef, though, not turkey.

  14. As a child, my mom made Slop…and it was browned ground beef, onions, salt, pepper, and cream corn…then you put it over mashed potatoes. We loved it.

  15. i'd definitely add gochujang and soy sauce into the pot. i just can't stop myself from putting these two into anything!
