Yessss sir you are soooo right …. I tweeked it a little bit tho… I've made this twice now and the only thing I did different this time is instead of using ground chuck I used ground turkey and instead of rice I used shell pata … and named it in your honor as 'Crimson Tide Gumbo' the family loves it…. thanks for the recipe š„°š„°

I made this chilli today it was the absolute best. The only thing I did different was cut my peppers a little smaller, still big.
Made it and fell in love with this recipe. Rick should make a recipe book.
