Daebak Ghost Pepper Ramen


Visited a lil Japanese market across town and came across this.

Noodles: Korean black noodles/Japanese Udon. A little lite on the amount you get in the cup but they tasted pretty good. *Slightly* thicker than your standard maruchan Ramen.

Sauce: thick and dark similar to buldak Ramen. Could probably switch out the sauce and I wouldn’t know aside from packaging.You drain the water prior to applying sauce so there is no broth, just the thick, black, burning goo on your noodles.

Burn. Very similar to buldak 2x. A long, slow burn.

If you’re a fan of Buldak 2x or 3x. This is one you can reach for without disappointment.

    I actually like these. But I do think Samyang 2x has a better overall flavor.

    Every time I see these posted in this sub, I’m shocked at how easily people get over the artificial/chemical taste they have. The spice is great, the flavor is not.
