2 Stuffed Pepper Recipes | Cajun & Southwestern Style Tex-Mex | PoorMansGourmet



These 2 recipes are incredible because they bring the elements of both southern cultures to the table with their rich flavor and spice. The Roasted Cajun Style Stuffed Peppers are Bell Peppers filled with pork sausage, dirty rice, red beans and smothered with cheese. The Southwestern Style Stuffed Peppers are Poblano’s, cut in half and stuffed with Spanish rice, Grilled Chipotle Chicken, corn, tomatoes, black beans and a few other ingredients that set this recipe off. And, though these recipes are both broiled in the oven, they’re both great recipes that can be cooked on any grill. #poormansgourmet #pmgk #pepper

  4. Just with your title, you got my attention! The Cajon peppers look fantastic and I'm a big fan of Zatarain's rice blends. The pepper roasting was a great choice. I have been wanting to make roasted stuffed peppers, but thought I had to cover the peppers and remove the skin. This method keeps the skin in tact so the pepper doesn't sag. Nice presentation!

  5. Your Southwestern stuffed poblano was gorgeous! I love the blend of ingredients that make up Southwestern cuisine and this has all of the best. I'm going back to watch the Chipotle chicken video again. Time to make this dish!
