Masala Mudhi!!!

Masala Mudhi or Murhi is another street food in Odisha or mainly prepared & consumed at every odia household as an evening snack. It’s not the usual street version of ‘Jhal Mudhi’ because it is being made by frying the ‘Masala’ first and then the ‘Puffed Rice’ is being added and Mix well. It’s bit of spicy and accommodate ‘Boiled Potato’, ‘Onions’, ‘Peanuts’, ‘Curry Leaves’, ‘Green Chili’, ‘Turmeric Powder’, ‘Red Chili Powder’,’Dry Mango Powder’,’Salt’ and most importantly ‘Mustard Oil’ along with it. It’s more of a ‘Home Recipe’ than the ‘Street Food’. It’s really easy to make in very minimal time and most importantly very helpful for the bachelors. Bachelors who are lazying around to cook & want to have anything as evening snacks, then this is the best recipe you can make quickly and enjoy in the evening. I still do have this in the evenings. This is a pure bliss from my childhood memory. So, I have just tried to bring this lost ‘Home Recipe’ into notice for all of you. Hopefully you will try at your kitchen and make the most of it and refresh your childhood memory too.
