4/01/2020 – SEASON: 1 EPISODE:1 SOUTHWEST CHILI
RECIPE: SOUTHWEST CHILI
• 2 lbs ground beef, cooked and grease drained
• 1 Green Pepper, chopped
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 cups celery, chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, diced
• 1 can corn, rinse and drained
• 1 can red kidney beans, rinse and drained
• 2 large cans diced tomatoes
• 1 can chili beans, do not drain
• 2 Tbls chili powder
• 1 tsp. cumin
• 2 tsp. garlic salt
• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
• ¼ cup masa
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Brown ground beef and drain.
2. Place in a large crockpot, add beef add all ingredients.
3. Cook for 3 hours.
4. Add masa if desired.
5. Cook elbow macaroni as directed.
6. Serve with cheese and cornbread.
