Recipe = 4 portions double for 8 portions
You need
About 1 lb of meat or meat substitute (we used 93/7 grass fed beef)
2 can of beans (we used 1 black, 1 red kidney)
Some veggies (we used about 1 cup of frozen corn and 3 celery sticks)
32 oz can of tomato diced or crushed (we used crushed)
Fresh garlic (we used 3 or 4 giant cloves)
About 1/2 cup of onions
1 TBSP oregano
1 TBSP salt
1 heaping TBSP Cumin
2 TBSP Chili powder
Step 1: Wash those beans. A lot. Until water is clear and then boil them for like 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: Get veggies ready. Combine with beans and set aside.
Step 3: Get garlic and onions ready. Set aside.
Step 4: Get spices ready. Set aside.
Step 5: Heat your pot. When it is warmed add beef (or other meat/substitute)
Chop it up a bit then add garlic and onions. Cook for a few minutes until meat is brown.
Step 6: Add crushed tomatoes, veggies and beans. Stir up a bit.
Step 7: Add spices and stir up a lot.
Step 8: Let simmer for 1 hour.
Step 9: Eat with mother clucking biscuits. Or other crackers/bread of choosing.
