i hope you’re all staying safe and using this extra time at home to do the things that make you feel productive and positive!! i’ve been working on a bunch of things that i didn’t have time to do previously, like spring cleaning, working on rebranding my businesses, creating content, and cooking!

join me as we make one of my go-to hearty and healthy dishes together: chili! it’s so delicious, easy to make, and makes meal-prep easy (unless you’re like my family and i who eat it for every meal and finish it the day it’s made, lol). ***recipe down below!***

ps. i’m a complete noob at this ASMR stuff, but let me know if you’d like me to give it another go, or if you want to see more cooking videos! don’t forget to subscribe so that i can see you here next time xo

HEALTHY CHILI RECIPE
*super easy to personalize – i often change up the ingredients that i use, but here’s what i used this time around!

ingredients:
• a generous splash of olive oil
• 2 celery ribs
• 2 medium carrots, peeled
• 1 medium red pepper
• 1.5 lbs lean ground turkey
paprika, cumin, oregano, and salt to your liking
• 1 can black beans
• 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
• 1.5 cups vegetable broth (you can do use/make a non-veg broth for more flavour if you’d like!)
• optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, tortilla chips

*you can literally add/subtract whatever you like and it’s guaranteed to taste delicious!
*to make this veg, you can sub in soya for the protein or use more beans/lentils!

instructions:
1. heat up olive oil over medium heat
2. add chopped celery, carrots, and red pepper and sauté for 4-5 minutes
3. add ground turkey and cook through until no longer pink, then add in spice mix and stir for 15-20 seconds
4. add in beans (with liquid), diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth and stirring occasionally, let boil. then cover, reduce heat and let simmer for ~30 mins to allow ingredients to blend
5. add your toppings (aforementioned are just a few – feel free to add corn, jalapenos, sliced avocados, salsa… the options are endless!)
6. DIVE IN 🙂
