Pantry Raid Chili. Start using some of the aged item from the pantry.

While sorting thru some of the items we have stashed in the pantry I decided to start using some of the older item up. Here’s just a little something I came up with.

Pantry Raid Chili

In one pot add:
½ lb. diced any meat you have cooked up you want to use up. Even canned meat will work
1 can beans, any kind will work
1 can diced tomatoes, any kind will work
2 tsp Chili powder, more or less to your taste but start with 2 tsp
1 tsp any smoker rub mix you think would go with your chili, add more later if you want
Salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste. I used ā€˜It’s Incredible’ seasoning
1/4 cup tomato ketchup to start with, add more later if you want

Taste the concoction about half way through and add more seasoning to your taste. Optional for your taste buds, ketchup or something sweet (brown sugar, honey, BBQ sauce, etc.)

Stir this up over medium/low het for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve with whatever you have around on top (chives, sour cream, onions, cheese, whatever) along with corn bread, croutons, crackers, chips, etc. on the side.

It’s your Pantry Raid chili so use what you have around.

I ended up adding some Spanish rice I found in the bottom of the pantry. Just a little more flavor to the pot.
