This chili recipe helped me win 1st place in my neighborhood’s annual chili cook-off this year! It’s a simple, 5 ingredient recipe that you can put into your slow cooker and leave for 7 hours. You use 2 types of meat: ground beef and chorizo. The best part about this is that you don’t need to brown the meat before putting it into your crock pot. Feel free to do so if you want a low fat chili recipe, but that might hinder YOUR chances at winning first place. Try out this chorizo chili recipe this weekend and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces chorizo
1 can undrained chili beans
2 cans undrained fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 can baked beans
6 hours low heat in slow cooker
1 hour high heat
Top with sour cream and cheddar cheese
