Ingredients :-
For boiled cauliflower :-
Cauliflower – 300 g.
Salt – 1 tsp
Water
For cauliflower fry :-
Corn flour – 1/2 cup
Maida – 1/4 th cup
Red food colour – a pinch
Kashmiri lal mirch – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Water – as required
Oil for fry
For corn flour mixture :-
Corn flour – 1 tbsp
Water – 1 cup
For cauliflower chilli :-
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Chopped green chilli – 1 tsp
Onion petals – 2 (medium size)
Capsicum – 1 (medium size)
Salt to taste
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Red chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaf
Process :-
First heat a pan.
Add water, cauliflower and salt and mix.
Cover for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Then drain the cauliflower and let cool down.
Then take a mixing bowl.
Add corn flour, maida, red food colour, kashmiri lal mirch, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste and mix.
Add water as required and make semi thick batter.
Add boiled cauliflower and mix well.
Fry on hot oil until golden brown on medium flame.
Then take out and keep aside.
Then heat 2 tbsp of oil in a kadhai.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a few seconds on high flame.
Then add chopped green chilli and fry for a few seconds on high flame.
Then add onion petals and mix.
Then add capsicum and fry on high flame.
Add salt to taste and fry for 2 – 3 minutes on high flame.
Then add sauces and mix for 2 minutes on high flame.
Add sugar and mix.
Then make corn flour mixture and pour.
Add fried cauliflower and mix for 2 – 3 minutes on high flame.
Then add chopped coriander leaf and mix.
Now the super tasty cauliflower chilli is ready to serve.
