You guys know this week can be so incredibly busy and if you are looking for some of the easiest recipes these are it these are ones that we have gone to time and time again because they are easy and they are delicious they are on repeat at my house for several years now
And they are ones that we almost always have the ingredients for so I know that it’s always readily available we love these family favorites one thing that I really like to do because it sets our family up for success on Sundays is putting something in the crock poot
Before we head out to church then when we get home it’s almost ready to go or ready to go this is one of our favorite recipes to have my kids love this and a little backstory on this one the very first time that I made it was I think
About 3 and 1/2 years ago or so I actually was sick and I did not have any taste and so we sat down to dinner and everybody was talking about how good this one was and I could not taste it at all so I obviously had to make it again
After I got my taste back and we have repeated this recipe so many times the first thing that I’m going to do is take a really large can this is a 28 Oz can of diced tomatoes now you can use two smaller cans if you want you could add
More liquid if you prefer a more soupy texture to this but we usually just use the one can of the petite DIC Tomatoes we’ve also done this with the the tomatoes that have basil in it um the one with Italian herb in it you can use the fire roasted doesn’t matter you can
Use whatever your favorite flavors are with this now at this point I like to add all of our favorite spices and sometimes it will be Italian seasoning and oregano and basil and salt and a couple things like that sometimes I add onion powder garlic powder we’re keeping
It really simple I’m getting ready for church this morning and I’m just going to throw in some Italian seasoning and some salt and pepper so dump that all into your crock pot and then we are going to be using some Italian sausage links this time so like a almost like a
Br worst you don’t have to use that many times we have done ground Italian sausage and I just cook it over on my stove top first and then put it all into the crock pot but we are going with the links I just found these in our freezer
And so I thought these would be perfect I’m just going to slice these into coins or bite-sized pieces and then throw all of those into the crock pot as well now the good thing about using the links or like the brw style is that you don’t
Have to pre-cook it you don’t have to worry about sautéing it first this is just so easy I can put this meal together in under 5 minutes now what I typically do is I will take it just at this point stir it all together and set it on low for about
3 to 4 hours it doesn’t take long at all for this to cook you could do this on high if you want to if you only need like a 2 to three hour window but when I set this on low I know that we’re good
To start this at 8:00 in the morning and then come back from church and have it at 1:00 and it’s going to be fine nothing’s going to overcook which is really hard to do for this recipe anyway we are home and now it is time to finish
Up this recipe I’ve done this several different ways sometimes I add cream cheese into this and sometimes I don’t today we’re going to add in about a half a block of cream cheese I do think it adds a richness to this recipe so I’m adding that in but like I said I have
Made this like a three ingredient recipe before too where I take the can of diced tomatoes that have the Italian herbs and I already put in some Italian saage and then do the tortillini and you’ve got three ingredients and it’s perfect we’re also going to be using this family siiz
Bag of tortillini and I’m going to dump the whole thing in here typically for us I find that this takes about 25 minutes or so to cook and to be Al Dente you do want to be careful not to overcook this part of the meal because if the noodles
Over overcook then they’re just get a little bit mushy so we usually go right in between 25 and 30 minutes stir it all together and it’s ready to serve it is so good and so easy to make this and it’s ready to go now I can put this into
Bowls that’s how we like to serve it it’s kind of a soup kind of not a soup because you can make it more soupy if you want by adding more chicken broth in but we like ours a little thicker so that’s how we usually make it okay we’re
Going to use regular scissors my herb scissors are in the dishwasher and we’re going to add some parsley to the top not quite as finely chopped as what I would normally do with the herb scissors but got to have some color there okay this is probably the 20th
Time I’ve made this so I already know how we feel about it I’ve also made it with ground Italian sausage instead of cutting up the links you can do it however you want either way it’s totally fine and I feel like we either add or take away things each time we make this
It just adjusts but this is a very basic recipe that can be ready very quickly and with very little effort it’s so good it’s so easy to make and it’s so good and it’s hearty and we usually have leftovers which makes it even better there’s nothing I don’t like about this
Recipe I also love how this reheats really well we’ll put everything into one of our storage containers and then we can have this for lunch tomorrow too you guys this recipe is just so easy it’s so so good we sat there at the table and just finished eating and now
I’m going to put our leftovers away and every time we sit down with and have this one we just think how is this only four ingredients five ingredients three ingredients depending on how you make it and it’s just so good it’s so easy literally anybody can make this I love
It white chicken chili is one of those recipes that you can make for a crowd tons of people it’s always delicious it’s one of those where when I don’t know what we’re going to have for dinner I almost always have all of the ingredients for this and I can toss it
All in a Crock Pot in the morning and have it ready by the evening I’ve made this in our small crock pot in our big crock pot in my instant pot which is even bigger and can serve a lot more people I’m telling you double triple quadruple it doesn’t matter it’s always
Going to be good so we’re going to make a white chicken chili this is our favorite recipe that we’ve found for white chicken chili thus far and it’s the one that I continue to stick by I am adding two chicken breasts to my crock poot this is a pound so I’m just making
This for us tonight but you can like I said you can make it for tons of people and I have plenty of times before stay with me here because I probably do this a little different than what you’ve seen in the past and you can absolutely throw
Everything into the crock pot and just let it cook all day long that is totally fine I personally cook the chicken first then I add everything else in so I mean I’m adding the majority in but I don’t add the beans in until later but again
The beans can cook all day it is completely fine so we’re going to add in about two cloves of garlic in with the chicken I like to add some garlic powder as well since we have that minced garlic we don’t need quite as much but you definitely want to add the onion powder
Or you can add onion feel free to add onion to this as well so if you’re using dried beans yes you do want these to cook all day long I’m going to use cans cuz we’re keeping it as simple as possible toss in the smallest amount of
Red pepper flakes if you want just a little bit of heat I mean the smallest of it okay that’s not even 1/4 teaspoon we add a little bit of pepper just a little bit that’s maybe a four teaspoon now here is the ingredient that you absolutely cannot skip because it is so
Good in here this is cumin and in this recipe cumin is it for me it is so good now I add about a teaspoon and a half maybe even close to two teaspoons because we like this flavor in this so much and we’re going to have to open this one
Now we also add some oregano just a flavor that we really like about a teaspoon of that and then although this is not a traditional chili and we’re looking at a white chicken chili I am going to add in chili powder and we just go about a
Teaspoon is maybe even a little less now you might be thinking Amber that’s just too many ingredients that’s okay you don’t have to put all of these in here these are just the spices that we’ve learned that we love in a white chicken chili so I think your
Cumin and your chili powder are almost a must have in this recipe the other ones are kind of like you could probably do without it but they do add really good flavor we need to add some chicken broth or bone broth whichever you prefer I am just going to start with this carton
Even though I knew that wasn’t going to get us very far we’re out of bone broth I order it in bulk and I didn’t even pay attention to the fact that we were out so we’ll be Back we added about 20 oz out of this a little over half of the carton I already had some in there so now we are going to cook this chicken I’m actually going to cook this on high because of the time that it is we’re going to cook this on
High for about 3 hours and then shred our chicken then we’ll add in all of our other ingredients and cook for a little longer if you are doing this before you leave the house in the morning dump everything except for your dairy products into the crock pot and just let
It cook it is no big deal you do not have to separate it out like this so what I like to do is just grab two forks and you’re basically just shredding this up really really easy to do you barely have to do anything you can obviously pull this out and do this
On your cutting board if you want to but it’s so easy to shred I usually just leave it in there and Shred with the two forks another thing you can do is grab um like if you have a mix and chop this thing same same process either way it’s
Going to shred really easily we are adding a can of diced green chilies this is mild but feel free to get the hot if that’s what you like I do not even drain these I just pour them right in as is I’m also going to be adding two cans of
Great Northern beans I do drain these sometimes I E and rinse them I’m going to give these beans about 30 minutes or so to heat all the way through and then we have just a little bit more to add in here before finishing this up we’re finishing up this uh white
Chicken chili I’ve actually taken some of the beans out of this before and pureed them then poured them back in because it adds a thickness and a richness to this chili I’m adding 4 oz of cream cheese in here you can break it up if you want but I’ve never found it
Being an issue that it will melt pretty quickly I’m adding a 4 cup of half and half so you could do heavy cream you could just do regular milk it’s up to you and like I said sometimes I’ll pull some beans out and puree them if you
Want a thicker chili you can do that I’ll just put them in a blender cup blend them up and then pour them back in it just adds a thickness to the chili okay I’m going to put the lid back on and just let this uh just let the cream cheese melt into
It white chicken chili is just an absolute favorite I’m telling you we’ve had this so many times the number of times that I have made this for my family because it’s one of those recipes where all of this in here they are Pantry Staples they are almost always
Available plus we usually have chicken in the freezer I mean I don’t have to go to the grocery store for this recipe it’s just available we like to top ours with some fresh cilantro maybe some avocado or some lime so good that way we’ve always got fresh cilantro over on
Our garden which is perfect and I just add that green so that it just add that pop of color if you don’t love cilantro obviously you can pick thyme or parsley or something else but y’all it’s like it’s just so cozy especially at this time of year this is such an easy dinner
We love having this one when it’s kind of of those days where I’m not quite sure what it is that we’re going to have this is a great option so it is a sesame type of chicken I’m using chicken thighs feel free to use chicken breasts it’s
All going to go into the crock pot I mean seriously so easy I’m also running a little behind today we’re going to get started on this I’m going to go do home school with the kids I need to get ready for the day all the things still have to happen so
Chicken is in when I make this I like to mix up my sauce all together and really get it nice and combined before I put it into the crock pot now technically you can just dump everything in there and stir it all together and you’re good to
Go I just usually do it this way so we are going to add some stuff in here and then combine I’m going to start with about a tablespoon of minced garlic about a tablespoon of Ginger paste you can use fresh ginger if that’s your preference and you guys know how
Much we love Ginger so I usually end up adding a little bit more feel like I say that in every time I use this we need about A4 cup of honey obviously you can measure I love eyeballing you guys know it smells amazing already it’s that
Ginger we don’t uh consume soy so we use this no soy soy sauce you need about A4 cup feel free to just use regular soy sauce if that’s what you want it is no big deal maybe a little more now most of these recipes ask for ketchup I don’t I
Just don’t like ketchup I mean I will mix it into stuff and this recipe is totally fine with ketchup but one thing that I found that we love as a replacement is this sweet thai sauce this is a chili sauce and so I use that instead of the ketchup you need about 2
Tablespoons and honestly I’ve made this before rather than purchased it you can do either way it’s not that hard to make it but if I don’t have all the ingredients I’ll just pick up this bottle for a couple dollars and then we have that on hand adding a little bit of
Rice vinegar just about a tablesp spoon of that and then for a little bit of heat we use Sriracha you do not have to you can definitely skip this don’t feel like don’t feel like you have to do that but I go maybe a teaspoon and a halfish and
Then just mix all of this together and this is going to get poured over that chicken okay it’s 1:00 this actually doesn’t take a really long time time to cook so I’m probably going to cook it on low for about 5 hours or so I don’t know if I don’t feel like it’s
Cooking fast enough so we have to leave our house tonight at 6 so we actually need to eat a little earlier maybe around 5 so I may need to turn it up to high about halfway through but basically with this one you can cook it on low for
5 to 6 hours or you can cook it on high for 2 to 3 hours just depending on what you need just check your chicken and make sure it’s done it’s a really easy recipe okay let’s just pour that all over the chicken it’s going to cook in
That it’s going to be so delicious this has been cooking for about 3 and 1/2 is maybe 4 hours I’m going to go ahead and take two forks and just shred it it should be very easy to shred you can choose to thicken up the
Sauce if you want but we always like the sauce just as is it’s very tasty all you would do is mix a little bit of corn starch with that liquid and then put it all back in mix it together and leave the lid off on high really letting it
Come together you can see see how incredibly easy this dinner is I mean it takes just minutes to throw together and then when we’re ready to eat it’s ready to go I mean I love I definitely consider this a dump and go crock poot meal so easy to make let’s taste it so
You guys can see just how good it is the flavors are always on point everyone always wants seconds I don’t know why I don’t double this recipe when I make it because it’s so good it’s just one of those where if we don’t know what we’re
Having for dinner it’s so easy to throw all this stuff in the crock pot and honestly it’s stuff we pretty much always have on hand I know I have made this recipe on my channel before but it’s one of those that is worth repeating because it’s just so easy it’s
Perfect if it’s chilly outside H chil it’s perfect if you’re having people over because you can make a ton of it and people will love it and you can have all the toppings you can have like a toppings bar if you want to and it’s
It’s so easy to make so I had to throw this one in here for this season I also Al almost never make it the same we change things up here and there the first thing that we’re going to do is head over to our Stove Top and brown up
This ground beef now this is a 910 ground beef feel free to use whatever kind of ground beef you want I am going to be adding some salt I like to add onion powder and garlic powder if we have those and I always add a touch of
Chili powder maybe about a teaspoon in the cooking process we have our ground beef it is cooked and ready to go I want to know do any of you have one of those crock Poots that you can sauté in because I’ve been seeing those and I’m thinking man that
Would be so convenient to be able to sauté right there in the crock pot and I know you can do that in the instant pot I kind of forget about that sometimes though I use these chili beans usually I just pick them up at Harris Teeter these
Chili beans I do not drain also we mix this up and change the recipe almost every single time we make it of how many cans of different things we put in but the chili beans I just put those in there just like that I don’t drain them
So I think tonight I’m going to use I don’t know let’s start with two cans of chili beans and see what that looks like we are having two people over tonight so there will be an extra two people at dinner so I want to make sure
That we have a good amount but we don’t need a ton of extra either but at the same time I never mind having chili as left overs because that’s something that we can eat at lunch for the next couple of days we are going to be adding a can
Of black beans and I personally like to add kidney beans to mine just leave out whatever you whichever beans you don’t like or make this completely without beans if you’re not a fan of that either now for the kidney beans and the black beans I do drain and rinse both of
Them okay now I’m going to be adding in some some tomato sauce if you prefer you could use crushed tomatoes sometimes I will also add a can of petite diced tomatoes we’ll see I just like I said I change it up almost every single time okay let’s start with two cans and then
We’ll stir it together and see what it looks like I’ll probably end up going with more Though you want a recipe where you just dump everything into a crock poot this is definitely one to give give it a try okay yes we are going to add another can of the tomato sauce now I actually was going to add another can or I was going to add a can
Of the petite diced tomatoes but it looks like we’re out of them so we’re not going to add that this time but you should feel free to do that if you have them on hand and I think this is good consistency I like what I’m seeing here this is pretty typical of the
Consistency that we usually make but you could add more things if you want to add feel free to use whatever but we are going to add some chili powder I usually add at least a tablespoon maybe even more you can use one of those chili seasoning packets too
Though if that’s something that you prefer this is one of those where you can just dump everything into the crock pot and it can just cook on low all day long and then it’s it’s just so perfect I love this too we’ve hosted at our house several times over the course of

Order it was one of those where I really needed the spices for that night for what I was making and so I just didn’t plan ahead I didn’t plan properly at all add whatever spices you love into this recipe I might come back and taste it in
A little bit and decide that it needs a little bit of something else but that’s how we do this so like I said this is just going to go into my crock pot and then we’re just going to cook this on low and it can sit here all day long
Pretty much everything is cooked in it it’s just a reheat process and then the longer it simmers together the better it tastes this chili just never fails I love making this one when we’re having people over because it is one of those where you don’t have to worry about it
You just throw it all in the crock pot and then it’s ready to go when you have company over it also feeds plenty of people we have made this so many times and it is just so good each and every time I love to top ours with sour cream

The stool helps a lot when cooking!!! For me, just cooking is a struggle, but I'm loving that I finally learned how to cook, so if I struggle, it's worth it. I got the idea from a show on Food Network. Selena Gomez has a show now, and she has some type of stool in front of her stove and counter, and that's when I got the idea. It helps me a lot. Instead of crushed red pepper try chopped pickled jalapeños in the white chili. I just made it tonight, my sons girlfriend requested it, she had never had it until she had it here and now it's her favorite. I also don't add cream cheese, although I'm sure it's great like that, we top ours with sour cream and monterrey jack or pepper jack cheese.
Great recipes yet again Amber. I got married in 1977 and my sister bought me a Marks & Spencers (nice store here in UK). The chilli recipe in this was 1 lb ground beef, 1 can Campbells condensed cream of tomato, then fill the can with water and add. 1 Teaspoon of salt, 1 can of drained Kidney Beans and up to 4 TBSP of mild chilli powder. I don't add onions or garlic etc but if I want to pad it out, I use another can of beans, black, pinto, even baked beans and sweetcorn. Of course you can add chilli flakes etc. I've been making it this way for all this time.
