Smoked Lemon Pepper

It’s time to stop buying lemon pepper from the store and make it on the smoker instead we’re going to start by taking the zest off of six large lemons just the outer zest though don’t get any of that pith in there that white stuff is bitter now we’re going to throw it on
The odod and smoke it at 200° until it’s totally dehydrated about an hour and a half when it’s crispity crunchy pull it off and let’s blend it up we’re breaking this down pretty fine in the spice grinder and then we’re going to move on to our pepper whole pepper corns break
Those down just as fine as the lemon peel now we’re tossing in a little bit of black garlic infused sea salt and that’s it three ingredients all done M Smoky citrusy with just the right amount of bite go check out the full video on YouTube All Things BBQ
