Hi welcome back to all the things or welcome if you’re new today is Sunday and so that means I have another what’s for dinner video to share with y’all um I like to share these videos on I try to share them every Sunday if possible and I just film whatever I have cooked

Throughout the week for our dinners um and so I just hope you enjoy it and we’ll go ahead and get started I’ve shown you all this chili recipe before but it’s our favorite chili recipe and it’s been pretty cold here cold for us anyway in the 20s so uh

We just wanted some good warm chili you’re going to start by Browning two l pounds of ground beef and then cut up uh some celery and an onion then we’re going to sautĆ© that in the pan with some butter um I like to cook my onion until

It’s really done gets some brown bits on it but really you just need to cook it till it’s soft I’ll link the original recipe Down Below in uh the description box I don’t follow it anymore um but it is where I got the original recipe from

And um it’s I not only do I cut mine in half and this is half of that recipe and it still makes a lot but I change a few other things too so after our ground beef is cooked we’re going to get that into our crock pot and after our celery

And onions has sa to however we like it we’re going to add that in there too and then we’re going to put in two cans of tomato sauce a um well let me follow along with the video here so that was a can of drained and rinsed kidney beans

Then two cans of tomato sauce a can of crushed tomatoes a can of Rotel a can of pinto beans those are not drained they’re just you know like they were um I used about a little over a tablespoon of minced garlic and two packs of chili

Seasoning um we used to use the mccormic all the time but but then they were out of it one time and I got the greate value and if you’ve not tried the Great Value chili seasoning to me it tastes almost exactly like the mccormic does um

So we’re going to put that in the crock pot on low for about 6 to 8 hours it’s cooked all we’re doing is uh getting all of our flavors combined together and you can also put this uh on a pot on the stove and cook it instead of doing it in

The crock pot all day if you just want to make it in the evening but it is delicious next up is this maple bacon chicken and I have shared before on my channel but it is delicious and we were ready to have it again so you going to

Start by cooking some bacon and then we’re going to get our chicken ready um the original recipe does have a seasoning mix that you put on the chicken I just used nature seasoning this time um and it turned out just as good so just get that on both sides of

Your chicken breast and then we’re going to cook our chicken in that same Skillet with the um where we had cooked the bacon we’re just going to use the bacon grease to cook cook our chicken I cooked my chicken all the way through on both sides but uh the original recipe just

Has you Browning the chicken and then cooking it the rest away in the oven I just can cook it faster in the skillet than in the oven and um I wanted it to when it got in the oven be able to be done within just a few minutes then

We’re going to work on our sauce while our chicken is cooking we’re going to do 2 tablespoons of moisture show sauce 2 tablespoon of soy sauce a tablespoon of um Dijon mustard and then um we’re going to do half a cup of maple syrup oh and a teaspoon of cayenne

Pepper last time I did double the sauce because I had more chicken than the recipe called for um and it was more sauce than was needed this time I just did I did not double the sauce I just did the regular measurements and it was plenty for the chicken that I cook

But so when our chicken is done cooking we’re going to get it into a casserole dish pour our sauce over the top of it and then we’re going to put on some cheese um I used kobby jack cheese I can’t remember what kind of cheese the

Recipe asked for I think it was kobby Jack in the recipe but I don’t remember I’ll link the recipe down below where I got it from and um after we top it with our cheese we’re also going to top it with some of our crumbled bacon and put

It in the oven and like I said because I had cooked my chicken all the way through mine only took just a few minutes in the oven to finish up because I was just melting the cheese and heating the bacon back up but um I’ll I’ll put in the recipe in the

Description box whatever the original recipe had if you’re not cooking your chicken all the way through and then um once it was done it was ready to serve and we just had it with some Brussels sprouts and some um mixed vegetables some stove top stuffing and um some

Macaroni cheese and y’all I’m telling you this chicken I could just eat this chicken every day and it’s chicken again because we are a chicken eating family but this was a cherry Chipotle grilled chicken um salad so this Kinder’s blend black cherry chipotle seasoning I got a

While ago at Sam’s and we had not tried it yet so um I just put it on my chicken on both sides and then I just ended up um putting the chicken in a skillet on the stove top with just a little bit of melted butter and cooking it in that um

I didn’t put any oil I just cooked it in just a little bit of melted butter and this seasoning y’all was so so so good it was not hot um I tasted it before I put it on the chicken and it it was a little bit spicy

But once I cooked it on the chicken it was not spicy anymore and it was so flavorful and so good this is definitely one of my new favorite seasonings to use so um I I can’t wait to try it on something else besides chicken and I

Think it would be really good to also um make some chicken just Grill some chicken and uh put it on like a bun for a chicken sandwich with maybe some um provolone cheese and some honey mustard or something but y’all I’m telling you if you have not tried the Cherry

Chipotle uh black cherry chipotle seasoning from Kinders give it a try anyway once that was done cooking I went ahead and sliced it up and got ready to put my salad together and um because we were just having these salads that night uh everybody made their own so there was

Hardly any work for me to do because once the chicken was cooked everybody else did the rest the next night we had cube steak so I like to cut my cube steak into bite-sized pieces before I cook it I just feel like you get a little bit more breading on each piece

And it doesn’t take very long to cook at all when you do that and sometimes I’ll even go ahead and cut my cube steak up before I like if I buy a lot of cube steak or something at the store on sale I will go ahead and cut it up and put it

In the freezer cut up so that all I have to do is take it out and do that but this time um I did not have it cut up in the freezer I this was from the freezer that I had pulled out of all but it was

Not already pre-cut so just cut it up get it into a bag and then we’re going to add a little bit of flour and um usually I would just use um allpurpose flour but that’s self rizing because that’s what I had open then I put some Kinder allpurpose butcher seasoning

Blend in there with it and shook that bag up good so that I could get a good coating over all of my um cube steak bites and then got that ready to go into the skillet so I just put some oil in my Skillet and um fried it in there until

Each piece was done once it’s done cooking I just usually let it drain onto a paper towel we had it that night with some um rice and gravy some limma beans some corn and some yeast rolls and um I always put hin 57 on mine Jamie always

Uses the A1 but just some good comfort food and yeah just another delicious meal and then our last meal this week was this Mongolian pork which I have never made before but we’ll definitely be making again for sure so I had taken a pork line out of the freezer with no

Plans I just knew that I needed to use it up and so it had already Tha and I needed to do something with a pork line so I Googled actually didn’t Google I went on Pinterest and I put in recipes with pork loin and it came with this

Mongolian pork the recipe actually said to use a pork Tinder loin this was just a regular pork loin I don’t care it worked just fine it was no difference so you’re going to cut that into bite-sized pieces and put it into a bag and then we are going to coat it

With some corn starch I believe that the recipe called for like a/4 cup of corn starch um I didn’t measure I just threw this corn starch in there and called it good then shook it up really well so that each piece got good coating on it that cornstarch that is going to

Be coating this that we’re going to cook it in um is going to help thicken our sauce later but uh no seasonings or anything which I was a little skeptical about I’ll be honest but I trusted the process followed the recipe um as far as

It telling me to do that and it turned out great so you’re going to cook your porkin in a skillet in some oil until your pieces are completely cooked and then pull those out and let them drain onto a paper towel now we’re going to work on our sauce I will put the

Measurements uh I’ll put the link to the recipe down below um it called for garlic cloves fresh garlic cloves yall know uh I just got out the minced garlic and put it in there so and I didn’t measure it I just threw some spoonfuls in there what I thought would be the the

Right amount and then I did double my sauce because I have double the amount of pork here that the original recipe called for uh and it needed double the sauce but that’s fine because I had double the pork so we put the y’all it’s getting late I’m a little bit tired so

We put the soy sauce in there some water in there brown sugar and some ginger I think the recipe also called for fresh ginger but uh I just used this this powdered Ginger it was fine it’s not a big deal uh bring that to a simmer and

Let it simmer for about a minute or so and then once that’s um simmering we’re going to add our pork back into it and like I said a minute ago that corn starch like you can tell how thin that is that sauce is right there but that

Cornstarch on that uh pork is going to make it thicken up so we’re going to bring that put that in our on our pot and bring that back up to a little bit of a simmer and uh get everything coated and then we had stars that night with some rice and broccoli

Uh you know but serve yours with whatever you want to I just I don’t know why I always think those are my go-to sides when I make anything any like this but it is anyhow uh it was really good everybody ate it everybody actually had

Seconds of this and I had it the next day for lunch and it was just as good reheated so we will make that one again and that’s it if you like the video I hope you’ll Stick Around And subscribe and I hope you’ll come back you know

Next next week for maybe another WS for dinner video thank you all so much for watching and we see you next time Bye

  1. Hi Natalie, I made a broccoli beef recipe with a almost identical sauce as your Mongolia pork. It was a Pinterest recipe too, we liked it ok. I will definitely pick up that Kinders seasoning if you recommend it. Kinders needs to send you some promotional freebies. I’ve never made KFC bowls because I didn’t think anyone would eat it. So I made myself one tonight and everyone was mad because they didn’t get one. They had BLTs and tater tots. I appreciate you posting dinner videos. Take care !
