Cheesy Bell Pepper Risotto | How To Make Risotto | Vegetarian Italian Recipe | Simply Jain



Simply Jain shares an Italian dish ‘Cheesy Bell Pepper Risotto’. Cheesy and yummy risotto that can be cooked at home.

Ingredients required

1) Cheese Sauce

2-3 cheese cubes grated
1 cup of milk
2-3 tablespoon cornflour
Water
Salt
Pepper
Oregano

2) Risotto

Boiled Arborio Rice
Olive oil
Red capsicum
Green capsicum
Yellow capsicum
Cheese Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Oregano

Ingredients required for cheese sauce are 2-3 cheese cubes grated 1 cup of milk 2-3 tbsp of cornflour water salt, pepper and oregano Mix cornflour in water Take cornflour mix it and make a mixture Now for Cheese Sauce Pour milk add grated cheese after 2-3 minutes mix it well allow the cheese to melt

Add the cornflour mixture only 2-3 tbsp add salt very little salt because cheese has salt then a pinch of pepper add little oregano okay our cheese sauce is ready For Risotto I am using Arborio rice which is easily available in the market I have soaked it in water for 10 minutes

Boil them for around 8-10 minutes Heat the olive oil add basil add all 3 bell peppers saute them Now add the cheese sauce add oregano salt pepper Now add the rice Mix everything properly It’s ready

  1. superb simply jain rissoto reciepe is sooooo cooooooool so easy…within a jist…keep it up shefali u rock…just a request that since all yur reciepes r soooooo easy nd rockingly tasty that..if u culd just list them seprately as maincourse snacks etc…anf also guide with the details of the products u use…fr eg-so n so's pasta,so n so's this chesse etc etc

  2. OMG that looks delicious! I have only question though. These Italian and American recipes usually call for basil. Is the same as the holy basil plant (tulsi) that we Indians have at home n which we consume as prasaad? Or is it a different variety of basil used for cooking? Because I read on the net that basil has over a hundred varieties and the one for cooking is different n has a slightly different taste from holy basil. So which one have u used? Thank you! 🙂

  4. That is not how Risotto is made…. Risotto requires broths and the rice is cooked in the sauce not in water and then added to the sauce … And also if you want a cheesy Risotto this is not a recipe for that…. You just mixed wierd white sauce in rice ….. And basil isn't supposed to be fried in oil … It's a fresh leaf … It's a classic Italian element … It is disrespectful to get it in oil like a Kari Patha …
