2 Yummy Bread Toast For Tiffin Recipes

Dahi Toast Recipe
Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt, well whisked
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp red chili powder or flakes
½ tsp salt, to taste
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp brown mustard seeds
1 sprig of curry leaves
1 green chili, finely chopped
1½ tbsp coriander, chopped
Sandwich bread
Sliced onion and chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Green chutney (for serving)

Instructions:

In a bowl, take 1 cup of plain yogurt and whisk it well.
Add ¼ tsp of turmeric, ½ tsp of red chili powder or flakes, ½ tsp of salt to taste, and ¼ tsp of pepper to the yogurt. Mix well.
In a small pan, add 1 tbsp of ghee and let it come up to temperature.
Add 1 tsp of brown mustard seeds and wait until they pop.
Then, add 1 sprig of curry leaves and 1 chopped green chili. Wait until it becomes fragrant, about 20-30 seconds.
Pour the tadka (spice-infused ghee) into the yogurt mix and add 1½ tbsp of chopped coriander. Mix well.
Dip sandwich bread on both sides in the yogurt mixture.
Fry it over medium-low heat on both sides until it turns golden brown.
Garnish with sliced onion and chopped coriander leaves.
Serve with green chutney for a delightful experience.

Masala Bombay Toast Recipe
Ingredients:

2 eggs
2 tbsp chopped onion
1½ tbsp chopped coriander
1 chopped green chili (kacha morich)
¼ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp red chili powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp milk
Sandwich bread (good for 4-6 pieces)
Your favorite condiment for serving
Instructions:

In a bowl, crack 2 eggs.
Add 2 tbsp of chopped onion, 1½ tbsp of chopped coriander, 1 chopped green chili, ¼ tsp of turmeric, ¼ tsp of red chili powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
Add 2 tbsp of milk to the mixture and stir until well combined.
Dip sandwich bread slices into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
Heat a pan over medium-low heat. Place the dipped bread on the pan.
While frying, spoon some of the egg mixture on top of the bread. Fry both sides until golden brown.
Serve the Masala Bombay Toast with your favorite condiment.
