Hi everybody Welcome to Mommy plus kitchen today I would like to show you how to make Korean kimchi pancakes using green bell peppers this is very easy recipe by Mommy pliers kitchen so let’s go make it so to make kimchi pancake we need kimchi you can buy see that already made

Kimchi this is cabbage kimchi SL already sliced cabbage kimchi there are two different kind of cabage kch one is whole and the other one is sliced so you need a slic kimchi like that and also you need flour all purple flour and you’re going to need two eggs okay of course green bell

Pepper okay guys here in here here is mixed of all purpose flour three cups measuring cups and I pour two cups and half 2 and 1/2 cups of water cold water and you mix for about couple of minutes on 1 minute okay then see two large egg next

We’re going to pour right here and you mix all together okay looks almost like a baking bread okay then do you see kimchi don’t mind about this particular brand this is the only brand I found they sell at the local market but if you go to the other store you can buy a

Better one I’m sure so this large size cost me about $27 and you can buy a little smaller jar they little less okay or a little tiny one but at least I need the generous amount of two cups and um you’re going to cut it a little more okay

Cut a little bit more with the either seizure or knife okay and we’re going to put it right here don’t worry about the extra juice coming along that’s fine if you have little extra juice um kimy juice just pour in there it’s all good okay now it’s I have one slice thin green

Bell pepper put right here in Korean cooking you see not many people using bell peppers because um we not used to eating bell peppers in our culture we you use other thing like um onions green onions things like that but this is Mommy Place way okay using green bell peppers

Because it’s readily available in USA and you know green bell pepper are cheaper than the the color one you notice that you can buy 80 cents for one well less than 80 cents for one so I bought it yesterday at the Mayer so yep be creative in

Cooking yes so get to add here and there different vegetables or something different okay okay it’s all ready to make pancake okay I would like to time it watch my time and uh so I can tell you guys how long I suggest to um cook cook okay so

About half or 1 tbspoon of olive oil and if temperature is too strong you always turn it down okay so about one scoop of this mix okay make sure you get grab the kimchi and vegetable put right here do you hear the seasoning sound yeah there the right

Temperature yep you can by listening to the sound to it what you listening to son I don’t think you like it well why not I like this new generation of music right here do you hear the seasoning sound yeah that’s the right temperature it’s been almost like uh 35

Seconds 40 seconds and it’s starting to Brown around the edge already so I may say cook about 1 minute to one side Okay one minute to one side or about one minute let me see then you’re going to go ahead and flip over okay I need the um just make sure

You control the temperature medium uh High to medium you don’t want to be too strong you don’t be too low okay temperature controlling and the amount of um timing all mixed together makes perfect pancake mhm Okay so that look like a face H remind me of somebody look at that see

That eyes and mouth and hair you serious H okay it’s been about 1 minute so you see that it’s still need to cook in this side okay so I’m going to go ahead and after 1 minute or flip over okay 1 minute and flip 1 minute and I’m flipping over some of seasoning

Cooking can you smell this through my camera it’s wonderful okay so it’s already 1 minute pass so we flip one more time okay see there getting Brown on the other side and it’s perfectly Good okay so let’s see so so far it’s a 3 minutes and 30 second I’m timing okay so I can tell you exactly okay minutes and 30 seconds or 40 second yeah perfect all right now we’re going to we’re going to we’re going to take it out and put it right here see

T so according to my the frying pan and my heater All That Thing 1 minute one minute 1 minute and 30 minutes total 3 minutes and 35 second or 40 second gotcha all right make and spread out kind of the p and let it cook while this is cooking I would like

To show you how to make Bing sauce for dipping sauce we need a little bowl and soy sauce I’m going to use kikoman brand soy sauce and you can buy this at the Ali cost less than $3 for this big one apple CID vinegar so this is the main items rest

Of them if you have it fine if you don’t don’t worry about it okay so I’m going to go ahead um I guess I put about half cups in here and I’ll will put put about half table of vinegar okay and if you have sesame seed wash tap put

About a little bit just sprinkle a little bit and red crushed red pepper can buy at the market it just sprinkle a little bit and if you happen to have a green onion slice you like Green Onion slice in here okay for extra little flavor yeah there’s your dipping sauce oh meanwhile yeah

Ni always perfect you realiz notice that Mom fer does good job of flipping y perfect okay time to eat kimchi pancake oh somebody wants to taste it m no no no no no no it’s for mommy they already eaten I already giving you steak let me eat honey okay here’s your

Pancakes I made oh how many did I make one two three two five six and one more here seven about I made about seven slice okay of pancake as you can see still see the steam yep it’s still nice and warm okay I slic this so I can show you me eating this

Okay dipping sauce I put it right here and let’s b a te let’s enjoy okay okay I got my Chopsticks and I have my kimchi Pancakes I’m going to go and try and I’ll let you know how I I think of my kimchi pancakes see this m sauce keep 50 one More I don’t taste much of kimchi but I do taste the fresh smell of that bell pepper that’s the first thing I noticed and the the light flavor of that good Italiano olive veran olive oil and the Kik and soy sauce with a little bit of CA Apple mhm Apple Tea it’s so wonderful it’s very light taste it’s not heavy it’s very light taste to it so I hope you guys give it a try and let me know how you think okay I see you next time with the more fun stuff and I see you soon
