Sawasdee Ka! Welcome to World of Thai Food. I’m Amy, and again, I’m still with Pi Jai at “Go Tong Restaurant” The next dish is gonna be another simple and yummy dish Its gonna be Gai Tod Gratiem. Now she is introducing me how to prepare the chicken in her style.

Next step is gonna be the marinade. [Jai Speaking Thai] I use chicken flavored MSG powder [Amy speaking Thai] Ok. [Amy speaking Thai] Ok. Just a little. [Jai Speaking Thai] and some salt. So she has marinated the chicken with some enhancement powder and a little bit of salt. So she fry the chicken first

Her secret for this dish is – you don’t need to use so much oil Because if you use too much oil the chicken is gonna be too hard and it’s not gonna be delicious. so now its gonna be nice, a little bit crispy and soft with good taste.

To season it, you use Oyster sauce [Jai Speaking Thai] If you don’t want it to be too dry then you can add some soup stock and add a little bit of soup stock. [Jai Speaking Thai] add deep fried garlic and then add the garlic

It is dry, deep fried garlic that she prepared already. [Jai Speaking Thai] add a pinch of Thai black pepper for taste and smell [Jai Speaking Thai] use very little, the Thai black pepper is spicy. and one teaspoon of Thai black pepper It’s done! So now we have Gai Tod Gratiem Prik Thai

Or, chicken fried with garlic & pepper very easy, and it’s gonna be very delicious It’s time for me to go for lunch Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel. Find the ingredients below or visit our website worldofthaifood.com For today, Have a Spicy Day! Bye bye Mmm Really good!

  1. Greetings from Toronto, Canada! Been to Thailand a dozen times and your food is the BEST! Tried this dish in Koh Samui and loved it. Can't wait to make it. Subscribed!!!

  2. Now I found the restaurant, it was in the wrong place 😉 I have contacted google. Lets see if they change the place on the map for the restaurant.

  3. Thanks for the nice video. But I would never intensionally use MSG in my cooking and I would wash everything that comes in contact with chicken after use and not just wipe the cutting board with a dirty towel, thus spreading the bacteria evern further. Sorry I wouldn't want to eat there.

  4. That is the super easy meal to made n it is healthy. No so much of seasoning is required especially the fish sauces n sugars with others cooking programs has introduced. Many tks.
