Air fryer salt and pepper wings are good and easy to make at home. I love this spicy version with stir fried chili peppers and garlic.
They are the healthier version compared to the usual fried ones. You are not missing out on the crunch as long as you used a potato starch or corn starch coating before you put them in the air fryer.
These chicken wings are crispy, crunchy and spicy.
Ingredients
2-4 servings
Wings
2-2.5 lbs chicken wings
2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
1 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsp ginger, grated
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup potato starch or corn starch
For the toppings
2 chili peppers (like Serrano, one green and one red), thinly sliced
3 garlic, minced
3 shallots, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
1/2 tbsp sea salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/8 tsp sugar
Note:
For a more intense spicy flavor, you can add 4-6 chili peppers.
Sprinkle additional sea salt on chicken before serving (optional).

Those look fantastic😎😛
2nd time making these. So yummy. Ty! 🥰
Looks wonderful. Sharpen your knife, a dull knife is likely to slip.
They look amazing. I found salt n paper chilli mix in home bargains. It's unbelievable good with chicken wings.
very good
Amazing
I'm reluctant to get an air fryer. For some reason I keep thinking its not gonna do what it says.
I have made this 2x and again today! Amazing!
Ive never used sugar in salt and pepper chicken. Is your recipe in the sweeter side or does it balance out well and you cant taste the sugar?
