The BEST and EASIEST Chili Recipe



This is one of my favorite dishes to make and only requires a few ingredients and does not make a huge mess.

Serves 5 – 400 Calories Per Serving

1 lb 93/7 Ground Turkey
1 Onion
1 Bell Pepper
1 Chili Seasoning Packet
Minced Garlic
Red Pepper Flakes
16oz can of Kidney Beans
15oz can of Black Beans
28oz can of Crushed Tomatoes
2 cups of Water

OPTIONAL
Sour Cream
Cheddar Cheese

Everything purchased at Walmart

This is the easiest chili recipe that you’ll ever make this is really simple these are all the ingredients here and it’s also very healthy so I’m going to run through all the ingredients we’ve got one chili packet you can get mild hot whatever you want if you want more

Spice go ahead and get the hot version I got mild uh you could also get low sodium to increase the healthiness if you want we’ve got one yellow onion you can do white onion if you want or purple onion uh we’ve got one bell pepper any

Color of your choice I went with orange we’ve got 937 ground turkey this is the meat that’s going to go into the chili we’ve got some garlic it can be garlic um puree which is like this you know paste stuff or it could be regular garlic um

Just going use some garlic there we’ve got red pepper flakes and then we’ve got two cans of beans we’ve got one kidney beans and one can of black black beans these are both 16 oz cans well black beans 15 oz kidney beans 16 oz both the same size

Here uh one of them is reduced sodium but you know whatever and then we’ve got a 28 Oz can of crushed tomatoes that’s it this is all you need and it’s all done in one pot all you need is a large pot like this uh pretty

Deep but pretty large this is all you need and it’ll fit all in here you don’t need anything else this is all you need here so let’s get to cooking all right so first things first we’re going to go ahead and cut the bell pepper and the

Onion and we’re going to put it into this bowl here this is what the final result is you got one diced onion and one diced bell pepper all right go ahead and take your spoon out and we have all of our ingredients here uh the other thing

You’re going to need is you’re going to need a strainer to strain out all the juices from both the pinto beans and the kidney beans uh you can strain them out without uh the strainer you can get the juices out without the strainer but I

Like to use the strainer so I want to go ahead and put this in my sink first thing we want to do is go ahead and turn on your stove top to medium heat and we’ll go ahead and put in a little bit of olive oil in

There just Dazzle a little bit in there not too much and we’re going to let the pan just heat up slowly all right I’m just going to go ahead and put the ground turkey in there so we’re just going to toss that in there make sure this doesn’t go in with the ground

Turkey and then you want to go ahead and just chop it up and it’s okay if the pan isn’t all the way hot right now we’re just going to chop it up now because why not all right so during this time what we’re going to do is we are going to

Open our cans here our beans and our tomato crushed tomatoes so just going to go ahead and put this thing on there this is going to go ahead and go around it automatically and get the can open for me all right now that we’ve opened these

Cans here here we’re going to go ahead and drain both our beans in here okay and run some water in here just like this get all that juice stuff off of them and then we’re going to go ahead and dump the uh the black beans in here

As well because they’re both going in to the chili so it really doesn’t matter all right so now we’re just going to let those sit there while the ground turkey is cooking most people when they cook ground beef they drain the juices that come out of the meat for ground turkey

We don’t have to do that so we’re just going to leave everything in here all right so the ground turkey is done so we’re going to add 2 cups of water in here just want to add those two cups in there then we’re going to add in our kidney

Beans and black beans that have been draining take that dump them in there and then we are also going to add in our 28 o can of crushed tomatoes you just want to add that right on top just like that then we’re going to add in some red pepper flakes for a

Little bit of spice this thing’s too slow just going to go like this all right add a little bit of garlic just going to use up the entire thing all right so now you want to mix it around get it nice and mixed just incorporate everything all the spices

The garlic the beans crushed tomatoes now it probably looks really disgusting right now okay I know it looks it looks pretty gross right but trust me time is everything with this dish right over time this thing is going to heat up get nice and delicious as all the ingredients just marinate with each

Other okay go ahead and add your whole packet of chili seasoning which is right over the top of that let’s go ahead and mix that in and at this point we’re going to add in our diced onion and our diced bell pepper now you want to mix those peppers

And onions into the chili and that is it all right so at this point you want to put the lid on the pan turn the temperature down I’m going to go to like three so you want to set a timer for 45 minutes and you want to let this simmer

For 45 minutes so you want to come by here occasionally every 10 minutes or so to check up on it make sure everything’s going well uh if you have to lower the heat or increase the heat go ahead and do that during that time um but also you

Want to go ahead and mix everything during this process um like I said every 10 minutes or so so yeah we’re just going to let let that sit and uh we’ll come back when it’s all [Applause] finished all right it’s all finished as you can see it looks a lot better than

It did uh before it was simmering and uh yeah this this smells incredible it looks really really good as you can see there um so let’s go ahead and service up a nice bowl and let’s give it a try all right this is it uh we’ve got a

Little bit of sour cream on there and I just spread out some uh shredded cheddar cheese um let’s go ahead and uh dive in here and give it a bite it’s going to be very very hot going to burn my face off but you know what it’s all good go ahead

And grab some sour cream to kind of cool me off here we go one bite everyone knows the rules yeah it’s really good got a lot of sour cream in that bite so those faces aren’t from it’s bad it’s really really good uh it’s just warm it’s very hot so yeah
