
Hello Friends! Here is Chicken Fry Biryani Recipe Step by step. A beautifully scented, flavoursome Biryani made by marinating and frying the Chicken till crispy before you add it to the Masala. A Simple yet guaranteed recipe. You don't wanna miss out!
INGREDIENTS :
Chicken – ½ Kg
Rice Sella (Soaked) – ½ Kg
(To Marinate Chicken) :
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Chicken Masala – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Yogurt – 3 tsp
Gram flour – 3 tsp
Cornflour – 2 tsp
Food colour – 1 pinch
Lime juice – ½
Cooking oil – to fry chicken
(To Cook Biryani Pulao) :
6-7 Garlic cloves
Gingee piece – 2 inch
Flannel seeds – 1 tsp { Paste
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Cooking oil – 1 & ½ tbsp
Onion – 1 (big size)
(Whole Spices) :
4-5 Long pepper
10-12 Back Pepper Corn
1 Black cardamom
3 Green cardamom
1 Star Anise (Badiyan Ka Phool)
2 Cinnamon Stick
2 Bay leaves (Tejpatta)
2 Tomatoes
6-7 Green chillies
Water (as required)
Salt (as required )
Food color – 1 pinch
Kewra – 1 tsp
Fried onion
Chilli pickle for Biryani
Degi masala powder homemade ( sprinkle 1/2 a tsp on rice)
Chicken fry
(Homemade Degi Masala Powder) :
Green cardamom – 3-4
Black cardamom – 3
Long pepper – 8-10
Black Pepper Corn – 1 tsp
Nutmeg (jaifal) – 1
Mace flower (Javitri) – 1
Cinnamon Stick – 2
Star Anise (Badiyan Ka Phool) – 1
COOKING STEPS :
1. Soak rice in water for 1 & 1/2 an hour
2. To Marinate the Chicken add spices as mentioned
3. Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour
4. Fry the chicken 4 minutes each side
5. To cook Biryani Pulao Make masala paste
6. Fry an Onion
7. Add whole spices as mentioned
8. Add roughly chopped tomatoes & sliced chillies
7. Add water
8. Add rice let it cook till 90 %
