three 4 we capping it off with these
chili dogs right here this will get you
right for Memorial Day hands down you
guys got five great recipes to just go
ahead and hit that summer
running so check this out the whole
purpose of this series is is to get you
ready by Memorial Day and to help you
know hone your skills for the grilling

now listen I’m not going to overt talk
it I’m going to get right into this
video and guess what we going to make
these Memorial Day chili dogs so listen
let’s highlight these right here now
when it comes to the Oscar M you know
beef dogs listen it doesn’t need no
introduction or no explanation but for
those of you guys that you know what I
mean just turned up underneath that rock
I’m going just tell you right now look
just the Quality quality of this you
know what I mean and just the flavor
that you get listen we got to put them
dogs in some type of BUN and you know
when it com to them holidays and things
like that you guys automatically think
about these right here ballp part right
listen nice soft along with the FR you
know with our uh dogs then we going to
use sarento sharp cheddar cheese this
right here look it can be by itself you
know I usually have these on crackers
sometime but I can tell you the taste
from this you know along with the chili
that we making and the beef that’s just
a blend that hands down just can’t be
beat after you made that you got to have
something to like wash it down with
right so why not just get yourself some
of this Splash this is wild berry
flavored water right listen and speak
peing of that you know what I’m going to
put this in the refrigerator and get it
nice and chill I’ll be right back okay
folks so listen we did say chili dogs
right so listen I mean we going to make
our own chili not going to come out of
the can or nothing like that this chili
right here is going to take you over the
top and I got a secret ingredient now I
got my cast iron skillet I’m going to go
ahead and put this over my direct Zone I
want you guys to pay attention right
there you see that you can see my coals
back there they nice and white you can
see the orange coming off look we just
heating this up right now I’m going to
take just a little bit of this right
here this is just my olive oil just a
little bit cuz we using 8020 right so
the 8020 on the beef mean 20% is going
to be fat 80% is the meat right so this
right here is going to get it so it to
be nice and uh juicy and moist so now I
know that that’s about ready right and
if you guys want to know how I’m able to
touch my cast iron here’s a little Pro
tip look I got gloves on and then I got
cut resistant gloves on this gives me an
extra layer right of protection right so
I put these over these and I’m able to
handle whatever I need to handle for a
brief period of time so let’s go ahead
put this on
8020 all right so I’m going to bring it
over here just so that I can see it
right you can see it’s starting to
render some fat out of it now I’m going
to take
my my little
masher and I’m going to start separating
it cuz what we want to do is we want to
get it you know a little small fine
ground beef
all right once your pink goes away right
now let me just say this we using these
you know Kings for you know charcoal
pret right I can close this and I could
have cooked this to get that some of
that flavor in there believe me it’s
getting in there anyway but what we
doing is we utilizing this being in the
outdoors you know what I mean making
some real chili and going from there
right so now again we don’t have any
pink now we just come with our diced
onions right so if you had anything if
it was too hot something was sticking on
the bottom the acids inside of the
onions would just pick up anything and
we want this flavor to just marry along
with everything else right look at this
right here look down at the bottom you
can see it’s nice
juicy oh man right I’m not going to add
my garlic just as of yet now we’re going
to come with our

paste we let that heat get to
it right help melt it dissipate
it now we come with our seasoning
so we get the rest of the ingredients in
here now by having them in these bowls
you know what I mean it they kind of
like dry out but we got to get it all in
there that’s why we
measure right now we come with this
little brown
sugar a little mustard
and then you can’t have no chili without
the W
sauce now we getting ready to use our
garlic press you know what I mean then
we going to go ahead and just add you
know the garlic to it now I’m going to
do it this way so you guys can see you
know garlic Burns kind of quick right so
what we do is we just put this on top so
now that I have this in here like
this I go ahead and just push this
through and look at that right there did
that make y’all smile
right we put it on top and as we press
more and Minch more we don’t have to
worry about burning anything now we work
that and incorporate that in
right oh yeah and now you guys wanted to
know what that secret ingredient
ingredient
is is

cinnamon now that it is ready
I’mma set this right here you can hear
it listen at it look at this chili right
here oo I got a little trick though if
you want to have it just a little bit
with a little bit more liquid in there
you can just add yourself a little bit
of you know chicken stock just a little
bit I’m might add just a little bit to
it when it comes time to putting it on a
hot dog now we just cut these
open okay now that we got these open
look at them you guys got to remember
look no artificial colors and just the
fact that it’s 100% beef right so I’m
going to take this and just put this
around this
way right and we going to keep them
going so you see these right here it
depends on how far you want to go with
them but look at that right there that’s
a good that’s a good start right we’ll
look at these this one right here
probably going to be mine
right wait a minute this one right here
might be

mine so everything about these about
what we doing just says you know like
get your grill on right now we got to
talk about that bun now those of you
guys that know who I am and been
following me for a minute you know that
I like to do that that uh that Mayo
toast right so listen we going to do the
same thing and look check this out this
is nothing but a white bread soft it’s
like buttery oh my goodness hey I’m
sorry y’all if if I really get to
talking and I get off you know off
kilter right so uh let me go ahead and
concentrate on this cuz those of you
guys that ever made dogs on the grill
know that if you look
off anything is Li to happen all right
so these are ready what I’m doing is I’m
just going to Stage these over here keep
these nice and warm right look at those
right there tell me you don’t want some
of these I’m going to put these back on
you know why cuz it’s Mayo time now for
the moment that we all been waiting on
we didn’t already seen the the secret
for the chili but now we getting ready
to put some of this Mayo on here and
this is that great value Mayo you know
what I mean available at Walmart this
does the trick right here
folks now some of y’all going to come
back and tell me like AB this changed
your life I read it all the time but a
lot of people don’t know it you probably
had this already and didn’t know if you
ever been to like a burger stand they
put it on there right so I’ll do the
rest but right now I’m just going to
drop pop this on here like this and we
going to
toast this one’s ready we’ll take this
one and set this one over here like this
and leave that alone now we’ll get a new
one on here you guys got to be careful
though cuz sometime they come loose you
know what I mean like that one did but
no worries it’s going to be fine take a
look at them right there remember I said
they be buttery look at this right here
look at them they
crispy center part is nice and soft and
buttery hey if you didn’t know now you
know now all we got to do is you see I
put the chili back on right so we want
to heat that back up you know what I
mean I can hear it it’s working remember
I tell you if it get a little too thick
for you you can always add yourself a
little bit of uh of uh chicken stock to
it now I’m going just add a slice here
right down the middle you got to do it
however you want to but I promise you
this cheese this combination of
everything that I’m doing right here
sends it way over the top in all
actuality the sento cheese gives it a
distinct you know flavor what I did was
I put them dogs back over there so they
can get a little heat on it but I’m
going to go ahead and take this one
right here and I’m going to put it right
there right down the middle right I’m
looking for some key players right look
at
that now we put some of this chili on
here now you guys put as much on here as
you would like you know what I mean but
I usually load it just about like that
right that might be like a lot but again
it’s your own personal preference it’s
nice and hot it’ll work with your cheese
help it

melt okay folks listen my mouth is
watering I already done taste it I done
had some of the beef you know the beef
dogs you know what I mean tasted the
chili I know it’s fire and then I did
one thing you guys didn’t see I took a
piece of cheese wrapped it around my dog
and ate it just like that now I’m going
go and put this whole thing together for
y’all so you guys can see but don’t
forget after we take this bitee we going
to need somewhere to uh we going to have
something to wash it down with cheers
y’all woo now let’s talk about this

soon as you take it up off the top you

I realize AB has a sponsor on this video, so he probably doesn't have a lot of choice in which products he's pushing, but…come on. Oscar Mayer hot dogs and Ballpark buns are NOT where it's at, quality-wise. There are much, much, MUCH better options at most grocery stores.
Overall nice segment to add to any food channel is the official taste test. Adding some friends in the mix is just fun 😊
I prefer Nathan's franks over Oscar Meyer but I like this recipe!
