This pork and bell pepper stir-fry recipe gives you tender and juicy pork, stir fried with crispy bell peppers and onions. This is a spicy and addicting Chinese dish that is easy to put together for a weeknight meal.
📋 Ingredients:
Marinating the meat:
Pork (pork loin/ tenderloin/ shoulder) – 300g
Oyster sauce – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/8 tsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Cornstarch – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Dark soy sauce – 1/2 tsp
Chinese cooking wine – 1 tbsp
Five-spice powder – 1/2 tsp (optional)

Stir-fry:
Garlic – 4 cloves
Red dried chilies – 5-8 pieces
Ginger – 3 slices
Onions – 50g
Bell peppers – 230g
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 6 tbsp
👩🍳 Instructions:
1) Cut pork into strips.
2) Add the marinade ingredients to a bowl and stir well.
3) Add the pork strips to the bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes in the fridge.
4) Slice onions and cut bell peppers into strips.
5) Heat a pan/wok over high heat until smoking and add 3 tablespoons of oil.
6) When the oil is heated, stir-fry the marinated pork until fully cooked, about 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
7) Heat 3 tablespoons of oil over high heat.
8) Stir in red dried chilies, ginger, and garlic and cook until fragrant.
9) Stir-fry bell peppers and onions over medium heat until cooked, about 1-2 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp of salt.
10) Toss in the cooked pork and stir well.
