Shakshouka Italian Style with Quail Eggs, Mozzarella, Basil, Chili

What makes this recipe so delicious and perhaps better than the traditional recipes?
Adding the chunks of fresh chewy mozzarella for the texture and extra flavor, the delicate quail eggs with smaller yolks (so that they won’t make the dish so runny), the sweet spicy flavorful habañero (you can take the seeds out if you don’t want it that spicy), and finally, the freshness from the basil…so yum!
It can also be served over pretty much anything you’d like, it can even be a great topping for a pizza! 🙂

::ingredients::
– 1/2 med onion
– 1/4 yellow bell pepper, 1/4 green bell pepper (you can use any sweet peppers)
– 4-6 tomatoes crushed, fresh or canned, sweet preferred
– 1 TBSP olive oil (for cooking)
– 1/2 – 1 large ball of mozzarella
– 5 – 6 large basil leaves
– 1 tsp grated parmesan cheese for garnish
– 1/4 tsp salt & pepper to taste
