My wife dragged me to a garden center to buy some flowers, but they had a huge home decor and cooking/baking section as well. I grabbed a bottle of this to try, I've never seen or heard of it before and this was their second hottest rated sauce on the shelf.
First off, spicy it is. Not outrageous, but good spicy. It's an Habanero-based sauce with bell peppers, vinegar, onion, cucumber, salt, and a bit of liquid smoke. It has its own distinct flavor profile that you can definitely taste when added to something.
The smoke comes through nicely in a plain salsa – the amount used so far was put into a jar of mild salsa and really kicked it up. Excellent so far on nachos and tacos. I worked up a sweat for sure and the nachos gave me hiccups (typical when I have hot sauces).
Posting for visibility. It's worth a try if you come across it. The price tag says $7.99 (CAD) so it's not super expensive.
