How I cook my simple and easy Vegan Mung Bean Chili

Hello! I’m so excited to share this with you guys. After seeing so many vegan chilis on the internet, I decided to make it simple by using one type of bean that’s locally available here in Cebu City, Philippines – MUNG BEANS / Monggo / Monggos (cebuano).

Although I didn’t use that much spices and whatnot, this still tastes so freaking good! I wonder how a full vegan chili will taste like? Even better right?

Ingredients
1 cup of mung beans
1 small red onion
3 cloves of garlic (2 pcs were small so I used 4)
2 spoonfuls of tomato paste
1 laurel leaf
salt & spices to taste

You may add lots of tomatoes and chili peppers as well for that full chili taste! I didn’t have any tomato and chili peppers available at the moment but it didn’t really matter because this is already tasty!
