McD and BK are 19-22% increase from mainland prices. Their value meals are $6 here vs $5 mainland. You have a $7 Luxe box on mainland that is $12 here – 70% more.
How is that a "value"? Do franchise owners freely set their own prices without being kept in check?
Rounding it out. 25% of island population is military. 60-65% locals/residents. Tourists fluctuate between 5 to 15%. You are targeting tourists with these prices and pricing out your largest customer base looking for value.
New Indian franchise owners for both Wendys and TB have inflated prices over 60% since 2022. Wendys 4 for $9 now when it was 4 for $5 in 2023 and now $12 Luxe box launch. There is no value to be found here.
