For the two reasons I was told it will never happen is because:
1. Yes it is cheaper
2. It makes it easier to use. Basically since the reduced fat version has less viscosity, it makes applying it to food not such a pain. Because regular sour cream is too thick.
That’s why I usually bring Taco Bell back home. For two sides of TB sour cream I can buy a whole container of the good stuff.

i seem to remember back in the early 2000’s when they switched to this. i could taste the difference… gotten used to it by now but i never liked it as much.

I dunno, I love the TB sour cream! The nacho cheese sauce is mid tho, has like no flavour.

The sour cream at TB is honestly too expensive anyways. You don’t even know if you’ll get skimped on the portion of it. You’re better off getting your own sour cream to use on your food at home. You can even put extra if you please 🙂

Usually just bring some Greek yogurt or sour cream from home, I’m a fat cheap ass though.
