Hi folks,
My pepper garden is in full bloom and the peppers are flowing! However, I’m a little concerned about my “two” serrano plants. I was very careful from germination to gardening to planting to make sure all of my different peppers were properly labeled and organized by type, but I think there may have been a mix-up. The first photo is definitely a serrano plant (not sure if the picture shows it, but it’s got a green pepper chilling on it currently). It’s tall and healthy and looks exactly how I’d expect. The second plant, however, is shorter, and the peppers it’s producing have turned red. I know serranos aren’t always exclusively green, and I can’t tell a major difference between the leaves, but I wanted to ask the pepper expert community for some help! So is the second pictured plant a serrano that’s just on a different wavelength than my other plant, or is it something entirely different? And if it is, can anyone identify it? Thank you SO much in advance!
