I’d say this is one of the best menu additions in recent years. It’s pretty expensive but the two servings and the taste makes up for the price I’d say.
The jalapeño ranch sauce is bomb and the cilantro and onion toppings helps to set it apart from the rest of the menu. Also that cheesy chalupa is simply just delicious and has a great texture. I am biased though since the toasted cheddar chalupa is my favorite item of all time (RIP sweet prince) and the similar shell here gave that that “Anto Ego gets a flashback from eating ratatouille” moment.
I will give a disclaimer though that a Taco Bell cantina opened near my workplace so that location might do this item at a higher quality than many others. However I was pleased with the quality at my normal Taco Bell too. Your mileage may vary though.
