You can harvest whenever you want… for red you better grab a good book cause it might take a week like mine or a month and a half like the rest of my peppers

I leave them until they are totally red because I think it looks awesome. I should pick sooner though but I like to look at them lol

I know it requires a ton of impulse control, but not until they are fully ripe. I actually leave mine on the plant about a week after they’ve ripened.

For typical Scorpion flavor of course, wait until they’re fully red. I have no idea if these are good green as I’ve never seen a green one. I might test it later in the year with some of mine as I like green habaneros a lot. Like any other pepper habs are more piquant when green and more sweet when red, and I would assume these are the same.

They taste different when green. Very herbal. You don’t have to wait. Enjoy them at every stage!
