Pic 1-3 are my strange over sized calyx plant. Pic 4 is my other naga peach. Both really aren’t doing amazing production wise. It has been very hot in Cali 9b the past 6+ weeks, 105-114. Not too too far out of the ordinary for this time of year though. This is my first year growing naga peach so I didn’t know what to expect. Pepper growth is painfully slow even compared to my reapers. Maybe I got a batch of seeds with bad genetics? The oversized calyx plant is producing technically but wow are the peppers small and like I said growth is wildly slow. The plant itself is about 4 feet, loaded with flowers, appears very healthy, and in a spot with plenty of sun. I have my 30ish habanero plants right next to them and the habanero are producing the best I’ve ever had. I’ll give it another month and if anything looks interesting I’ll do another update post. I definitely won’t be saving seeds from these this year and I’ll just but new seeds for next.
