“Mexican Sweet Corn Tamalito”? Is there such a thing in Central/South America?

Or is it just Tex-Mex? Alternate names: Sweet Corn Casserole, Tamalitos/Tomalitos, etc. Seems to be steamed as you'd steam tamales.
