Mexican Food

Has anyone else tried these?

I found these in an international food store near me that is bigger than average and has a lot of good asian, spanish, and caribbean offerings (especially produce, it is so much better priced and way better selection) not found in typical chain grocery stores. They have a whole section of dozens of different tortillas in a fridge rather than the shelf that appear far more authentic. I was eager to try one and had no idea where to start other than I knew if it was simple and had just Corn, Water and Lime it would probably be good.

But these were amazing to me. Idk if it’s the stone ground corn or just the nixtamal process that made them good but they don’t get soggy, they don’t fall apart from simple toppings, and they have this old world charm that reminds me of wood fired bread on stone.

It somehow falls between a hard taco and a soft taco and has the best of both worlds.
