Made a hot chicken sandwich for the first time, and it was amazing.

I’ve been tired of mediocre hot chicken sandwiches and decided to give it a go with a fresh bird from a local farm.

I used thigh meat, home smoked chipotles, home fermented hot sauce, and home grown cayenne. The beer pickles were a nice touch as well.

It was a great balance of flavor and heat.
