Hey r/spicy,
I recently tried my hand at making crunchy chili oil, inspired by a recipe I found on Instagram. The results were awesome, but I wanted to crank up the heat, so I added some habaneros to the mix. It definitely gave it a nice kick, but now I’m wondering what peppers you all would recommend to take it up another notch.
I’m looking for something that will add more heat without completely overpowering the flavor. Any suggestions for the next step up? I’m open to trying different pepper combos too!
